 Hello & Welcome I’m Lucica, the owner/artist behind the lens at Gold Feather Photography. As a mom of two girls, I remember always running after them with a camera. I loved it, wanting to capture every moment, every smile, every memory before it slipped by. I love connecting with my clients through photography, every photo shoot sparks joy inside me.  I am an ON- LOCATION  photographer based in Swampscott, MA. Sometimes I use a studio light, but most of the time I use the natural world/light around us. I artistically capture the moments/portraits at a pre-arranged location, shot in available, natural light.  My specialties are high school seniors, children, and family photography, however, I love to be challenged and will always come up with inspired ideas for mini-sessions depending on the season. I also love to shoot other fun projects to push my limits in photography. My style is often described as natural, simple, and organic, as I try to incorporate these elements into all of my sessions. I know choosing a photographer is not an easy task, so I am here to make things easy every step of the way. Whether we are whispering and playing classical music to make sure your baby is sleeping or listening to some cool jams while taking family photos, we will make sure everyone is having a great time at your shoot to get those natural smiles out.  Photography gives me the opportunity to capture moments in time that can be passed on to our future generations. I’m sure that almost everyone has had a grandmother who would pull out her old dusty photo album every time you came for a visit to show you all of the old family photos, no matter how many times you have seen them. Yes, that grandmother! But those were the best times because the memories we have of the ones we love are what matter most. Being a photographer gives me that rare opportunity to help capture those happy memories for families, so they can be kept alive for future generations.
