Congratulations on reaching your final year of high school! 

Whether you have booked your session already or are just browsing around, I hope you find the info below to be useful! I LOVE specializing in Senior Portraiture, and I truly LOVE my clients even more! My goal is to find the uniqueness of you so I can capture YOU as you are right now at this super exciting time of your life! I cater to my sessions specific to each client and their unique style, and most importantly I take out the time to get to know you.  

Gold Feather Photography offers a full service, all-inclusive experience with fun, professionalism and personal attention. Also, I offer beautiful products such as custom-designed albums, fine art wall canvases, professional prints and more. Every client will leave their session feeling beautiful inside and out! High School Senior portrait sessions last up to 90 minutes. Early morning just as the sun rises or early evening before sunset offer the ideal times for perfect lighting; however, the best accommodations will be made for you.

$150 deposit is due at booking to secure your session date 

Choose a location that is special to you! 

• Your session will run approximately 60-90 minutes 
• Unlimited wardrobe selections,
• 25+ digital files (chosen by you from  around 30 proofs) high resolution professional edited + Black & White images, including printing right
• An online password gallery for you to download and to place your professional prints from the comfort of your home.
• Online and Mobile Gallery for sharing and ordering for 120 days 
• Yearbook image submission
• For travel outside the Swampscott, Marblehead and Salem area, a $50 per travel hour fee will be applied.

Traditional On-Location Senior Portrait Session | – Contact for Pricing Details –

$150 deposit is due at booking to secure your session date

• Your session will run approximately 30-45 minutes 
• Up to 2 wardrobe selections,
• 15 digital files (chosen by you from around 20 proofs) high-resolution professional edited + Black & White images,  including printing right
• An online password gallery for you to download and to place your professional prints from the comfort of your home.
• Online and Mobile Gallery for sharing and ordering for 120 days
• Yearbook image submission 
• For travel outside the Swampscott, Marblehead and Salem area, a $50 per travel hour fee will be applied.

Simple On-Location Senior Portraits Session | – Contact for Pricing Details –

$75 deposit is due at booking to secure your session date 

Great for those kids who are not huge fans of getting their picture taken but will still offer you a variety of images to select from.

• Your session will run approximately 20 minutes 
• One wardrobe selections,
• 8 digital files high-resolution professional edited + Black & White images,  including printing right
• An online password gallery for you to download and to place your professional prints from the comfort of your home. 
• For travel outside the Swampscott, Marblehead and Salem area, a $50 per travel hour fee will be applied.
• Yearbook image submission

Editing: typically takes 2 weeks, however during busy season June - December editing can be pushed 3 -5 weeks.

Retouching: minor retouching is included. Minor retouching included is facial blemish removal, scrapes, scratches, skin smoothing, eye sharpening. Anything beyond scope please contact me. If you have a special request, I'm happy to quote you.

PRINTS...Printing images is as important as the digital images themselves. Often time in this digital time, clients can miss the most important final step in our session - printing images. I have partnered with a professional print lab in California, and you can order images directly from your online gallery to be billed and sent to you. Prints are more expensive by printing through a pro-lab but the coloring comes out true to the original file and they have a Lustre Coating on them (a type of coating that protects against fingerprints). I have had many client’s notices that by printing through CVS/Walmart their photos come out with a yellow/green tint. All products are subject to sales tax of 6.25%.  

In the event of inclement weather, your session will be rescheduled and the deposit will be applied to the new session date. 

I love referrals!  Refer your friends and family, have them use your name when booking their session. Once their session is booked and paid for you receive $25 credit towards your session fee or session order and they receive $25 off their session fee as well.

THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE YOUR SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSION...Most seniors schedule their senior portrait photo sessions in the summer and fall before their senior year. The earlier you book the better! I start booking the end of May and typically schedule though the end of November for outdoor sessions. It is not as hot in May and early July and the color is beautiful! I have limited availability for On Location sessions so it is best to call early to schedule.

  
HOW TO SCHEDULE MY SESSION...You may either call me at 617-229-9763 or email me at info@goldfeatherphotography.com. There is also a Contact Page on this website and you can send me your info there as well. Once we speak and determine which session best suits your needs, we will decide on the date and the optimal time of day for the best lighting. 

WHERE SHOULD I HAVE MY SENIOR PORTRAITS TAKEN... If you don't have any favorite place in mind, no worries. I have many ideas for you. Do you like the beach with sandy paths, the grasses, and fields with a wild beautiful flower, rural places, gates, or something urban and modern? I am happy to accommodate you. 

  
WHAT YOUR SESSION WILL INCLUDE... Each Senior Session will include the photographer's time and talent, image processing, a post-session viewing and ordering appointment as well as the retouched image of your choice forwarded to your high school for use in your yearbook if allowed. You must provide the correct contact information either by email or on a printed piece of paper on the day of your session. Your image will not be guaranteed to be in your yearbook without this information. 

 
WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR...You can, of course, wear whatever you feel comfortable in.  Usually, your favorite outfit is something you look and feel great in! I suggest a variety of colors and styles. Some of my favorites are neutrals such as white, cream and navy.  Please avoid logos and strong patterns. If you are having trouble deciding, feel free to bring more additional choices with you and I can recommend what I think will photograph best. Girls should wear the proper undergarments in both design and color. Watch for straps and shirts that are cut too low under your arms. Additional retouching will be needed to remove straps or color showing through. Iron your garments as well.  Boys…Be sure to iron your shirts and pants! Wrinkles shows and are also additional retouching to remove.

     
CAN I BRING A FRIEND, SIBLING, OR A PET?... Absolutely, but I concentrate on you to make sure we get all of the best shots before taking any group photos. 

CAN I SEND AN IMAGE FROM AN OUTSIDE PHOTOGRAPHER TO MY SCHOOL? ....Each year more and more schools are allowing images from outside photographers to be sent in for use in the yearbook. Be sure to read the directions from your school and provide me with a printed copy of the information.

IMAGES ON SOCIAL MEDIA...Once you place your portrait order and it is paid in full, I will post your senior portrait image! You are welcome to share them where ever you would like. I simply ask you to share from my page on Facebook or include the hashtag #goldfeatherphotography on Instagram. It is a great way for me to build my business and I will really appreciate it!
